2020: Écoutez goes USA!
I have some great news to share! Everyone, I am very excited to announce that the opening of the first overseas Écoutez branch is closer than ever.
I just put a big fat signature under the lease contract that assures Écoutez of an exclusive building in Town Square Southlake, Dallas, USA. As you could read in my previous blogs, the quest for a suitable location was not easy. But good things come to those who persist. This was proven once more.
This step means so much to me, and in particular to Écoutez. It will mean even more to people with hearing problems in and around Dallas, Texas. It won’t be long before my American team and I will welcome the very first customers.
Our vision on hearing solutions will be copied to Dallas one on one. Given that we manage to distinguish ourselves from the rest thanks to our human approach here in the Netherlands, our hearing solutions are doubly innovative in the USA. After all, in the United States hearing healthcare is almost entirely the domain of hospitals: white-coat territory. In itself, that’s not a bad thing. However, Écoutez focuses primarily on the person behind the hearing issue. Loss of hearing never comes alone. We notice that many customers are confronted with loneliness, social inconvenience and even dementia if not adequately assisted. Additionally, people with hearing problems experience a huge threshold visiting an audiologist for the first time.
Last year, we introduced the Hoorlab (Hearing Lab) in the Netherlands. This is a unique concept in a homely setting to highlight the low threshold approach of the audiologist, eliminating any feelings of embarrassment. This concept will be implemented directly in our Texas branch.
I want to make use of this opportunity to give heart-felt thanks to everyone who gave me empathy, support and interest. This made a big difference to me. For more information, send an e-mail to email@example.com. And if you are ever in the area, don’t hesitate.
Gotta run now, I am getting the key in a minute! And then… we can get started!
I wish you all the best for 2020!
Always welcome!! Ilse
